彫刻家/「HORIYO 彫陽」代表。12月14日、日本国大阪府生まれ。
Born in Osaka, Japan on December 14th
He was awakened to the art of sculpture from a very young age, and from his teens he studied underShin Tsutsui and Kyouji Kishida. He has been responsible for handling new sculptures for danjiri (dashi, taikodai, yagura, and jinjabukkaku) in areas all over Japan, as well as participating in large-scale repair.
‘HORIYO’ was launched in 2010, with the artist working as the representative.
With a base of strong conviction, the sculptures continue the oral traditions of ancient Japan with innovativeness, and have received attention not only in Japan, but overseas. These sculptures represent Japan making its appeal to the world.

  • At the request of contemporary artist Hisashi Tenmyouya, the Hisashi Tenmyouya X Yousuke Yamamoto ‘Akashi no Tou’ presentation was held (Mizuma Art Gallery).
  • Presented the Heisei large-scale repairs to danjiri in Kitaootomochou, Tondabayashi City, Osaka Prefecture.
  • Scheduled presentation of new danjiri carvings at Miyakojima Shrine, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture.
  • Scheduled presentation of Heisei large-scale repairs to danjiri from Minamibetsui, Tondabayashi City, Osaka prefecture.
  • Scheduled presentation of new danjiri with the artist as primary representative in Ebitani, Tondabayashi City, Osaka Prefecture.
